From the Author

Meet Terrell A. Ford

Terrell A. Ford is the author of You Are the Flag: How Leaders Represent the Ideals They Swore to Defend and the founder of Ford Leadership LLC.

The message began as a leadership speech to help military leaders connect the oath they swore with the uniform they wear daily with pride. Over time, it expanded into a broader call for leaders at work, at home, in family, in faith, and under pressure.

Through writing, speaking, coaching, and leadership development, Terrell helps leaders examine what their presence teaches, what their patterns permit, and what their example makes believable.

Leadership Anchor Leadership is not what you intend. It is what others experience, consistently.

The Core Message

Leadership is not just what you say. It is what your presence teaches.

You Are the Flag challenges leaders to examine what their conduct represents under pressure. Every correction, conversation, decision, silence, and reaction leaves residue.

This book confronts the quiet drift that happens when standards become suggestions, urgency becomes performance, and authority forgets dignity.

If people judged the standard by how you lead, what would they learn about what it truly stands for?
